Jennifer Hill-Birk, M.D.
She has been a resident of the Geist area for three years and enjoys living here and getting to know the residents of her community. Dr. Hill-Birk is married to Jason and they have two little boys, Henry and Rex. They are members of St. Simon Church. Danyelle Loveless, M.D.
Dr. Loveless is a diplomat of the American Board of Family Practice. She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians as well as the Christian Medical and Dental Society. She has varied interests including dance and the theatre, and African and contemporary art. She is a native of Detroit, MI. Patrick McGill, M.D.
Dr. McGill has practiced in Pendleton, Indiana since 2004. He has also worked part-time in various urgent care centers. Dr. McGill will join Geist Family Medicine and Pediatrics on February 1, 2010 and will accept new patients with insurance carriers contracted with Geist Family Medicine & Pediatrics.

Michele Stookey, M.D.
Dr. Stookey is a diplomat of the Board of Family Physicians and a member of the Indiana and American Academies of Family Medicine. Although she enjoys all aspects of medicine, Dr. Stookey is especially interested in women’s health care, exercise, nutrition and preventive medicine. She is an avid runner and scuba diver, and also enjoys weight lifting, traveling and reading. Dr. Stookey met her husband, Ken, in medical school. He is a radiologist at Community Hospital. Jennifer Hill-Birk is a native Hoosier. She graduated from University of Evansville and Indiana University School of Medicine and completed her residency in pediatrics at Riley Hospital for Children in 2001. Previous professional services include private practice in rural Indiana and inpatient care for a Special Care Nursery. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Hill-Birk has special areas of interest in newborn care, obesity, and fitness in children. She also enjoys taking care of children with complex medical problems.
Dr. Danyelle Loveless has been a member of the Community Health Network System since 2000. She joins us from Community Family Physicians in Anderson, IN. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Spelman College and earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. She completed her residency in family practice at the St. Elizabeth Family Practice Program-Franciscan Medical Center in Dayton, OH.
Dr. William J. Lynn is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine. After receiving his medical degree, Dr. Lynn completed a three year residency in Fort Wayne, Indiana in 1987. He then began his private practice in Indianapolis. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Family Physicians, and is a member of the Indiana Academy of Family Physicians, and the Indianapolis Medical Society. Dr. Lynn is active in his community church, enjoys running, playing basketball and Bridge. He is an Indianapolis native, married and has three children.
Dr. Patrick McGill holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia and received his medical degree at the Medical College of Georgia School of Medicine. He completed his family medicine residency at Ball Memorial Hospital in Muncie, Indiana in 2004. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
Dr. Jennifer S. Robinette is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine. She completed her residency at Community Hospitals of Indianapolis. She is a diplomat of the American Board of Family Physicians and a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Indiana Academy of Family Physicians.
Alex Sleder, M.D., is a board-certified pediatrician who joined Geist in early 2010. Dr. Sleder graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Notre Dame. He attended medical school at the University of Minnesota. Dr. Sleder completed his pediatric residency training at Indiana University’s Riley Hospital for Children. He also served on Riley’s transport team. Dr. Sleder has practiced in Lebanon, Indiana and most recently in Mesa, Arizona since 2006.
Dr. Michele Stookey is an Indiana native, and she attended Indiana University in Bloomington and Indiana University School of Medicine. While in medical school, she decided to specialize in family medicine as it allowed her to treat people, not just illnesses, and to help individuals live a healthier life. She completed her residency at Community Hospital, where she served as Chief Resident. Following residency, she started a medical practice on the near eastside of Indianapolis. After eight years of practice, Dr. Stookey decided to change to a practice closer to home, and is excited to join Geist Family Medicine & Pediatrics.
Shannon Tighe, M.D. joined us in August 2009 after practicing in Shelbyville, Indiana. She is a native of Anderson, Indiana. Dr. Tighe received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. She attended medical school at Indiana University School of Medicine and completed her residency in pediatrics at Riley Hospital for Children where she served as chief resident.
Dr. Danica M. Vasilchek is a graduate of the Indiana University School of Medicine. Her residency was completed with St. Vincent Hospital. She is currently licensed to practice Family Medicine in the State of Indiana. She is a diplomat of the American Board of Family Physicians; and is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice. Other previous professional experience includes St. Vincent Hospital Emergency Department and Occupational Medicine Facility. Dr. Vasilchek is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians. She is married and enjoys tennis, snow skiing and golf. Dr. Vasilchek is an avid reader with her book club.
